Requests for Qualifications are extended to September 30, 2025, by 5:00 pm (PDT).
McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from subcontractors and suppliers for the above project, including but not limited to Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms.
McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the above project. The project will be a full replacement of two (2) existing terminal concourses, partial passenger boarding bridge replacement, airfield pavement (apron and taxiway/taxi lane) work, infrastructure and utility relocation, and demolition of existing structures and pavements. The project is expected to be out for bid on the corrected date of October 09, 2025.
Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the Following: Structural Demolition, Selective Demolition, Remediation/Abatement, Concrete, Reinforcing Steel, Masonry, Structural Steel, Miscellaneous Metals, Metal Decking, Decorative Metals, Stairs, Finished Carpentry-Interior Millwork (Concourse), Finished Carpentry-Interior Millwork (Apron), Damp-Proofing & Waterproofing, Joint Sealants & Fire Caulking, Insulation & Firestopping, Roofing, Metal Panels, Fireproofing & Intumescent, Expansion Control, Doors, Frames & Hardware, Overhead Doors & Grilles, Glass & Glazing, Interior Glass, Fixed Louvers, Metal Studs & Drywall (Concourse Level), Metal Studs & Drywall (Exterior Wall), Metal Studs & Drywall (Apron), Cement Plaster, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Acoustical Treatment, Carpet & Resilient Flooring, Sealed Concrete, Polished/Stained Concrete, Terrazzo Flooring, Painting & Wallcovering, Miscellaneous Specialties, Signage, Toilet Partitions & Bathroom Accessories, Wall & Door Protection, Wire Mesh Partitions, Folding Partitions, Fire Extinguishers & Cabinets, Lockers, Loading Dock Equipment, Food Service Equipment-Residential, Transportation Terminal Equipment-PBB, Window Treatment, Furniture, Other Special Construction, Elevators/Escalators, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical, Earthwork, Dewatering, Fences & Gates, Asphalt Paving, Site Concrete, Pavement Markings, and Surveying.
In addition to any requirements that the Owner may have, McCarthy requires that:
Subcontractors having subcontract amounts over $500,000 and exterior skin scopes of work, including waterproofing, roofing, plaster, and fall protection systems, contractors provide performance and payment bonds, and
Suppliers having purchase order amounts greater than $500,000 provide contract supply bonds. All bonds are to be for 100% of the subcontract or purchase order amount, as applicable, and from a surety listed in U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and have an A.M. Best Rating of A- or better.
If your firm is listed as a proposed subcontractor in any listing required by law or the contract documents, such listing and subsequent award of a subcontract are contingent on your firm providing bonds meeting both Owner and McCarthy requirements.
Per the FAA's Contract Provision Guidelines for Obligated Sponsors and AIP Projects dated May 24, 2023, the following provisions are hereby referenced for this solicitation: Buy American Preferences, Civil Rights–Title VI Assurances, Davis-Bacon Requirements, Debarment and Suspension, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, Foreign Trade Restriction, Lobbying Federal Employees, and Procurement of Recovered Materials.
