Advertisement for Henderson County Schools Local Planning Committee (LPC) Meeting 3 and Public Forum 3 The Henderson County Schools' Local Planning Committee (LPC) will conduct a PUBLIC MEETING on September 30, 2025, at 5:30 PM CDT at the Henderson County School District's Professional Development Center, 631 North Green Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420. A Public Forum for public comments will follow this meeting. This is the third of a series of meetings and public forums to develop a District Facilities Plan for Henderson County Schools. The Draft District Facility Plan was sent to KDE for their review and approval and has been returned for the Local Planning committee to review with KDE comments and recommendations. This plan will be presented by the district's architect to the Local Planning Committee for review, discussion and final approval. The plan will then be sent to KDE for their final approval and ultimately to the local board for their approval. This is the third of a series of meetings and public forums to develop a District Facilities Plan for Henderson County Schools. This meeting and future meetings will be informal gatherings to encourage local participation through community suggestions relative to future utilization of existing school facilities and construction of new school facilities. These community suggestions or recommendations will be closely monitored by the Local Planning Committee in the development of a proposed District Facility Plan for the Henderson County School District. A Public Forum will be held at approximately 6:00pm CDT for the general public to add any additional comments or voice any concerns they might have.
