Jefferson, South Bend, Indiana. At this hearing, the Hearing Officer may affirm the order of which all repairs to the HOUSE be completed by SEPTEMBER 25th, 2025. If the repairs are not completed by that date, the Hearing Officer may impose a Civil Penalty, for an amount up to $5,000.00, against the property owners for failing to comply with the hearing order. This is a continuous enforcement order as defined by I.C. 36-7-9, and therefore is in full force and effect without the need to seek additional compliance, abatement or orders for the same or similar violations. On-going compliance and enforcement activities are authorized if necessary, and fees and costs may be assessed and collected without the need for additional notice or hearing.
