LEGAL NOTICE
At a meeting of Zanesville City Council on Monday, September 8, 2025 the following legislation was passed by Council and signed by the Mayor. Resolution No. 2025-94 Amended-Introduced by Council-A Resolution declaring “Beggar’s Night” also known as “Trick or Treat” for the City of Zanesville. Resolution No. 2025-95-Introduced by Council-A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission, authorizing the necessary tax levies, certifying them to the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2025-98-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance repealing and replacing Ordinance 2025-88, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into successive agreements with the Muskingum County Commissioners, for the reimbursement of fees paid to attorneys who represent indigent defendants in Municipal Court and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2025-101-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the proper city official to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and/or best bidder for labor and maintenance of City Fire Department apparatuses and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2025-103-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the Public Service Director to execute a grant agreement with the USDOT for the development of a SS4A Safety Action Plan for the City of Zanesville and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2025-104-Introduced by Council-An Ordinance authorizing the Public Service Director to advertise, solicit bids, execute all contracts, and apply for loan funds from the OEPA Water Supply Revolving Loan Fund for a water main replacement project, and declaring an emergency.
