Request for Proposal Contract 2026-25 Town of Marshfield, MA Department of Public Works This is a request for proposal (RFP) to conduct a forensic audit on the Department of Public Work's three (3) enterprise accounts: Water Enterprise Waste Water Enterprise Solid Waste Enterprise The Town of Marshfield Board of Public Works, the governing board of the Marshfield Department of Public Works, is seeking proposals from certified public accounting firms to conduct a forensic audit, to go back five (5) years (Fiscal Years 2019 – 2024) and to include the following tasks: Evaluation of all expenses and incoming revenues Evaluation of direct enterprise expenses and expenses charged to the enterprise accounts by the town Evaluation of appropriate percent of expenses charged to the enterprise accounts by the town Recommendations for appropriate methodology for the town to use to charge enterprise accounts going forward. Minimum Qualifications: The applicant will be a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) Firm The firm must have five (5) years' experience in municipal accounting The firm will furnish the department/board with three (3) qualifying references, towns or cities for whom the firm has provided a similar service The Town of Marshfield Department of Public Works/Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if qualifications do not meet town standards.
