NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN : that the Salem Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Hearing, PUBLIC NOTICE SALEM TOWNSHIP TAKE NOTICE, the Board of Supervisors of Salem Township will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building located at 15 Twp Bldg Road, Hamlin, PA 18427. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to review the following Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE OF SALEM TOWNSHIP, WAYNE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING THE TOWNSHIP SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH REGULATIONS FOR DATA CENTERS WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP. The hearing is open to the public, and all interested parties are invited to attend and give comment. The Board finds that the regulations promulgated by this Ordinance are necessary to achieve the following purposes, To protect and provide for the public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Salem Township; and to ensure the adequate and safe development and use of property located in Salem Township. This amendment is drafted to add new regulations pertaining to "data storage centers". A copy of the entire Ordinance is available for review at the Salem Township Municipal Building during regular business hours. Following the Public Hearing, the Township will consider said Ordinance for adoption at its regular meeting on October 14th, 2025 also held at the Salem Township Municipal Building 15 Twp Bldg Rd., Hamlin, PA 18427.
