ORDER TO ANSWER
At a session of said Court held in the 50th Judicial Circuit Court, City of Sault Ste. Marie, County of Chippewa, State of Michigan, on the 17 day of September, 2025.
PRESENT: Hon. James P. Lambros
Circuit Court Judge
Upon consideration of Plaintiff's Verified Ex Parte Motion for Substituted Service and Exhibits appended to said Motion, it is determined that service upon Defendants, SCOTT ALBON (aka Scott William Albon) and JENNIFER NELSON (aka Jennifer Lynne Nelson and/or Jennifer Lynne Albon), of the Summons and Complaint in this action cannot be adequately effectuated for purposes of obtaining the relief requested in the Complaint and/or as described in the accompanying Verified Ex Parte Motion. It is also apparent to the Court that Defendants can be best apprised of the pendency of this action by the publication of an Order in a newpaper.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the Defendants, SCOTT ALBON (aka Scott William Albon) and JENNIFER NELSON (aka Jennifer Lynne Nelson and/or Jennifer Lynne Albon), shall serve their Answers on the Law Offices of Carol S. Andary, PLLC, Attorney for Plaintiff, whose address is 544 Ashmun Street, P. O. Box 556, Sault Ste. Marie, Ml 49783, or take such other action as may be permitted by law on or before the 5th day of November 2025. Failure to comply with this Order may result in a Judgment by default against said Defendants for the relief demanded in Plaintiff's Complaint filed in this Court.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this Order be published once every week for three (3) consecutive weeks in Chippewa County in the Sault Ste. Marie local newspaper, i.e., The Sault News.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the publication of this Order will be made within twenty-one (21) days from the date of entry of this Order and that a copy of this Order be mailed to the Defendants at their last known address by first-class mail, along with a copy of the Summons and Complaint; and further that a copy of this Order and a copy of the Summons and Complaint be emailed to Defendants last known email address at the Long Ships Motel.
