NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Staunton City Council will conduct the following Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The hearing will be held in Rita S. Wilson Council Chambers located on the first floor of City Hall, 116 W Beverley Street.
• Public Hearing and Consideration of a Request by Paul J. Wright Jr. to Rezone 1004 Seth Drive, Parcel Identification Number 11635, from B-1C, Local Business District Conditional, to R-3C, Medium Density Residential District Conditional. The Proffers Offered by the Applicant for the Conditional Zoning are the Same Proffers Previously Approved by Staunton City Council for the Planned Unit Development Known as Middlebrook Park. The City of Staunton, Virginia, Comprehensive Plan 2018-2040, Future Land Use Map, Designates This Area as Medium Density Residential with a Suggested Density Between 4 and 20 Units Per Acre
The City of Staunton Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the request at its September 18, 2025 meeting. The Planning Commission has recommended approval of the request.
