Take Notice That:
The right to redeem the following described property, to wit:
All of that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the 76th District G.M., Jefferson County, Georgia, containing 9.167 acres, more or less, being Parcel “A-1" appearing on plat of survey made by Alfred D. Bellew, Surveyor, dated September 8, 1994, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of said County in Plat Book 2, page 90, reference being made thereto for a particular description, being as acquired by him in that deed recorded in said Office in Deed Book 220, pages 109-10.
The conveyance is made subject to that certain Mining Lease by and between G. R. Hadden and Sherman & Hemstreet, Inc. dated March 25,1969, and the Memorandum of Agreement between said parties of even date therewith which is recorded in Deed Book 79, Pages 161-162, Jefferson County Records. Said Mining Lease was assigned to Reynolds Mining Corporation by instrument dated January 4, 1971, and recorded in Deed Book 88, pages 127-127, said Records. Party of the first part hereby sells, assigns, transfers and sets over to party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all of the right, title and interest in and to said Mining Lease which party of the first part has or may have, insofar as it applies to the property hereby conveyed.
Said tract of land is known as Parcel A-1, Gamble School Road, Jefferson County, Georgia and further known as Map/Parcel 0034 041 in the Tax Assessor’s Office of Jefferson County, Georgia.
will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 20th day of OCTOBER, 2025. The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 5th day of March, 2024, and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Jefferson County, Georgia, in Deed Book 645, at page 23-24.
The property may be redeemed at any time before the 20th day of OCTOBER, 2025, by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to the undersigned at the following address: 12 Siebald Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.
