NOTICE OF REDEVELOPMENT STUDY PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE that on October 15, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., the Sussex Borough Planning/Zoning Board will hold a public hearing in the Sussex Borough Municipal Building located on 2 Main Street, Sussex, New Jersey 07461 to discuss the Condemnation Area in Need of Redevelopment Study (the Study), prepared by J. Caldwell & Associates, LLC, dated October 15, 2025, in accordance with the provisions of the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A 40A:12A-1. The Study concerns the plans for redevelopment and includes a map depicting the boundaries of the Condemnation Redevelopment Area and the parcels included therein and will be on file and available for public review and inspection a minimum of ten days prior to October 15, 2025 at the Sussex Borough Municipal Building located at 2 Main Street, Sussex, New Jersey 07461, during regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday, except public holidays, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Sussex Borough Planning/Zoning Board may take official action at this meeting, which may include the adoption of the Condemnation Area in Need of Redevelopment Study regarding the property situated at Block 408, Lot 6; Block 406, Lots 1, 2, 4, 8 (the Property) and the recommendation that the Borough Council determine that the Property is a Condemnation Area in Need of Redevelopment. Any interested party may appear at the public hearing to participate and offer comments on the Study.
