NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF LEVYING ASSESSMENT FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NUMBER 2504 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held at 5:30 P.M., on October 20, 2025, in the City Council Chambers of the City of Watertown upon the following proposed Resolution of Levying Assessment hereto appended and published herewith at which time the City Council of the City of Watertown shall consider any objections to the proposed Resolution by owners of the property liable to be assessed for the sidewalk improvements and may adopt the proposed resolution with or without amendment. PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF LEVYING ASSESSMENT FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NUMBER 2504 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Watertown, South Dakota, as follows: 1. The City Council has deemed it necessary to construct the street improvements heretofore designated as Sidewalk Project No. 2504. 2. The assessment roll for Sidewalk Project No. 2504, is hereby approved and the assessments thereby specified are levied against each and every lot, piece and parcel of land thereby described with assessments, payable in ten, (10), installments. 3. Such assessments, unless paid within thirty (30) days after the filing of the approved assessment roll in the office of the Finance Officer, shall be collected by the County Treasurer of Codington County in accordance with the procedure for Plan One in Title 9, Chapter 43, South Dakota Codified Laws. 4. Unpaid installments of assessments shall bear an interest rate of 10.00 per cent per annum. 5.
