Notice of Public Hearing
The Sterling Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission has scheduled a Public Hearing on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Sterling Town Hall, Room #15, 1183 Plainfield Pike, Oneco, CT on the following items:
1. P&Z proposed text amendments to Zoning Regulations:
• Section 2.01 Specific Definitions- Accessory Apartment (Accessory Dwelling Unit),
Sterling Industrial Park:
• Section 301.1 Prohibited Uses - B. Uses prohibited within the Sterling Industrial Park
• Section 4.01 Minimum Lot Area (Formatting and Clarification)
• 6.04 Accessory Apartments
• Section 9.03 Fees
2. P&Z proposed text amendments to Subdivision Regulations
• Section 2 General Provisions
• Section 8 Public Open Space
• Section 10.2 Building Lots
At the hearing, all interested parties may speak and submit written communications to the Commission regarding the proposals listed above. Copies of the proposed amendments are available for review in the office of the Sterling Town Clerk during normal business hours.
