Worcester Academy has applied to the Planning Board seeking (1) Definitive Site Plan Review under the requirements of the City of Worcester Zoning Ordinance, and (2) More Than One Building on a Lot approval under the City’s Subdivision Regulations. Presently on the premises of 76 ½, 78 and 82 Providence Street are vacant lots. On the premises of 80 Providence Street is a 3-family detached dwelling. The properties are located in the RG-5 (Residence, General) zoning district. The applicant seeks to raze all existing site improvements and combine the lots to construct two 4-unit multi-family low-rise dwellings on one lot, construct a ±10-space parking facility and to conduct associated site improvements (PB-2025-072).
A public hearing on the application will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:30PM in the Levi Lincoln Chamber, 3rd floor of the City Hall, 455 Main Street, Worcester, MA.
