The City of Green Cove Springs, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the flood hazard information on Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) 12019C0277E and 12019C0281E, generally located west of Highway 17 S, and south of Green Cove Road. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 25-04-5404P, which follows the approved Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 24-04-1173R for the The Rookery development. As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase, decrease, and be established within the area of revision and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen, narrow and be established within the area of revision.
