NOTICE OF OHIO DEPARTMENT OF NAURAL RESOURCES GRANTS PUBLIC HEARING The City of Zanesville intends to apply to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for funding under the Land & Water Conservation Fund Programs. The City of Zanesville is eligible for fiscal year 2025. The City of Zanesville's Community Development Department has set aside funding, provided the city meets applicable program requirements. The City will conduct a public hearing on October 22nd, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, 401 Market Street, Zanesville, OH 43701, in the City Council Chambers. Citizens are encouraged to attend this meeting to express their views and comments on the City's needs and potential projects for the ODNR applications. The following grant aims to make Putnam Hill Park a free, and accessible park for children and adults of all ages. The Putnam Hill Park Revitalization Project includes a splash pad, new ADA accessible playground equipment, an additional paved parking area, a second shelter house and picnic areas, sidewalks, and native tree, flora, and grass plantings.
