By virtue of and in obedience to a Writ of SEIZURE AND SALE directed to me by the Honorable 17th JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT in and for the PARISH OF LAFOURCHE, State of Louisiana, dated: 09/02/25, in the above entitled and numbered cause, I shall proceed to sell at online auction on 11/12/25, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and bids may be entered on the platform having the following electronic address: www.bid4assests/LPSOSheriff to the last and highest bidder for cash, the following described property, to wit:
Property will be sold in as is condition.
1. A certain parcel or tract of land situated in the Parish of Lafourche, within the State of Louisiana, on the left descending bank of Bayou Lafourche at a distance of about 45 miles below the City of Thibodaux, Louisiana, said tract is designated as Lot Number Twenty-one (21) of Block One (1) of the Plaisance and Bruce Subdivision, Part of Section 35, T-18-S, R-21-E, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, by J.A. Lovell, C.E., dated June 14, 1950, which said Lot Number Twenty-one (21) of Block One (1) measures fifty feet (50') front along Andrew Street by a depth of seventy-one (71') feet, said Lot Twenty-one (21) of Block One (1) is bounded front or South by Andrew Street; bounded North or above by the Estate of Elie Ducos; bounded West or toward Bayou Lafourche by Lot No. Twenty (20) of Block One (1) of subdivision; bounded East or toward the marsh by Lot No. Twenty-two (22) of Block One (1) of said subdivision, together with all buildings and improvements thereon and all of the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes and appurtenances thereto belong or in anywise appertaining.
2. A certain parcel or tract of land situated in the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, on the left descending bank of Bayou Lafourche at about forty (40) miles below the Town of Thibodaux, Louisiana, said tract of land or lot of ground being Lot No. Twenty (20) In Block One (1) in the Plaisance and Bruce Subdivision as per survey made by J.A. Lovell, C.E., on the Fourteenth (14th) day of June, A.D., Nineteen Hundred and Fifty (1950); together with all buildings and improvements thereon and thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining.
Tracts number 1 and 2 bear a municipal address: 189 East 59th Street, Cut Off, Louisiana, 70345
Being a portion of the properties acquired by Charles R. Hall, Sr. and Lucille Middleton from Sherry Griffin Demere by Act of Cash Sale dated August 21, 2020, executed before Sheila P. St. Pierre, notary public in and for the Parish of Lafourche, State of Louisiana, recorded therein, in COB 2176, page 439, Entry No. 1301755
And from the proceeds of said sale to pay petitioner by preference over all other claims, the sum of $10692.23 DOLLARS, along with interest and attorney’s fees and all other costs including my own costs and charges.
