NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Resolutions passed on May 8, 2025 and June 12, 2025 by the Community Emergency Medical Services District Trustees, Portage County, Ohio, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of the Community Emergency Medical Services District at a General Election to be held in said District at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the question of an additional tax levy for emergency medical services. Tax being an additional 2 mills tax levy that the county auditor estimates will collect $552,734 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
