NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION SUFFIELD TOWNSHIP Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Resolutions passed on June 24, 2025 and July 8, 2025 by the Suffield Township Trustees, Portage County, Ohio, there will be submitted to a vote of the electors of Suffield Township at a General Election to be held in said Township at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the question of an additional tax levy for fire and emergency medical services. Tax being an additional tax of 3 mills tax levy that the county auditor estimates will collect $752,646 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $105 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
