NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION TALLMADGE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of resolutions of the Board of Education of the Tallmadge City School District, Portage and Summit counties in Ohio passed on July 16, 2025 and July 29, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of the Tallmadge City School District at a General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the question of an additional tax levy for the purpose of current expenses. Tax being an additional tax of 5.7 mills that the county auditor estimates will collect $3,777,486 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5.7 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $200 for each $100,000 dollars of the county auditor’s appraised value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026. The polls for said election will be open at 6:30 a.m., and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
