NOTICE
The BENSALEM TOWNSHIP COUNCIL will hold a public hearing and take action regarding an Application for Inter-Municipal Transfer of a Restaurant Liquor License at its regularly scheduled meeting on October 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., to be held at the Township Building, 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA and will hold a public hearing on and will consider for adoption an ordinance authorizing the transfer of Restaurant Liquor License No. R-21378 into the Township of Bensalem from Plumstead Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, at the request of Flying Pig Bensalem, LLC for use at a restaurant located at 969-75 Bristol Pike, Bensalem Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
The Ordinance to be considered and acted upon is the following:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BENSALEM, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, APPROVING THE REQUEST OF FLYING PIG BENSALEM, LLC, TO TRANSFER LIQUOR LICENSE NO. R-21378 INTO THE TOWNSHIP, REPEALING ALL INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES, AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR
The public hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing within the municipality concerning Applicant’s intent to transfer a liquor license into the municipality of Bensalem Township. The proposed Ordinance authorizes the transfer of Liquor License No. R-21378 from 5978 Easton Road, Unit A-100, Pipersville, Plumstead Township Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to Flying Pigs Bensalem, LLC for use at a restaurant located at 969-75 Bristol Pike, Bensalem Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with the understanding that said transfer must be approved at a later date by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The full text of the proposed Ordinance may be examined by any citizen in the Office of the Director of Administration of Bensalem Township located at 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or at the Bucks County Justice Center, located at 100 North Main Street, Floor B-1, Doylestown, PA, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
