NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Plan Commission, of the Town of Lamartine, will hold a Public Hearing on the matter of rezoning approximately 1.9 Acres of Intensive Farmland Preservation to Residential District. The property is described as follows:
Part of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 6, T. 15 N.-R. 16 E., Town of Lamartine, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, commencing at S. 1/4 corner of Section 6; thence North 1658 ft.; thence East, 972 ft. along centerline of Johnson Rd.; thence North, 33 ft. to North r/w line and point of beginning; thence North, 347 ft.; thence East, 240 ft.; thence South, 347 ft. to North r/w line; thence West, 240 ft. to point of beginning.

The property is currently owned by Cory & Brenda Towne
The hearing will be held at the Lamartine Municipal Building Meeting Room on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 6:30 PM. Located at N5269 Schaefer Drive, Oakfield (mailing address but, the hall is located with the Fire Department on the corner of County Road Y and Schaefer Drive in the Town of Lamartine).
A majority of the Lamartine Town Board members may be present; therefore, the public is hereby informed that a quorum of the Town Board may exist at this public hearing.
The Lamartine Town Board will take action on the Plan Commissions' recommendation at the Regular Town Board Meeting on Monday November 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
If granted, this rezoning would have the effect of amending the town-zoning map, from Intensive Farmland Preservation to Residential.
