NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   TAKE NOTICE that the Smithfield Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, beginning at 7:00 P.M., at the Smithfield Township Municipal Building, 1155 Red Fox Rd., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the variance requests of Westfield North LLC from sections of the Smithfield Township Zoning Ordinance. The applicant seeks relief from Sections 304 and 308.F(1), (2) and (4) of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the development of an entirely residential multifamily project within the ED Zoning District.   The variance requests relate to undeveloped land owned by Applicant on SR 447 by Franklin Hill Road bearing Parcel No. 16.92932 and Map No. 16731100180752 located in the Economic Development District in Smithfield Township.   The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for a charge not exceeding actual copying costs) at the Township’s office at the address listed above during regular business hours. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may participate in the proceedings.
