NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25 ___________________________ Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Trustees of Rushcreek Township, Ohio passed on the 18th day of June 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November 2025, the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Township of Rushcreek for the purpose of providing fire protection and emergency medical services. Tax being a renewal tax of 1.85 mills that the county auditor estimates will collect $211,764 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.85 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $65 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for five years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.
