Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of the Rittman Exempted Village School District, Rittman, Ohio, passed on the 23rd day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of the Rittman Exempted Village School District for the purpose of providing for the emergency requirements of the school district. Tax being a renewal of an existing tax of 5.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $207 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s appraised value, for ten years. The estimated annual collection of this levy is $950,000. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.
