Form No. 124 Prescribed by the Secretary of State (01-23) Notice of Election on Tax Levy in Excess of the Ten Mill Limitation R.C. 3501.11(G), 5705.19, 5705.25   Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Sandusky County of Sandusky County, Ohio, passed on the 29th day of July, 2025, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 2025 the question of levying a tax, in excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Sandusky County for the purpose of the operation of community programs and services authorized by county boards of developmental disabilities, for the acquisition, construction, renovation, financing, maintenance, and operation of developmental disabilities facilities, or for both of such purposes. Tax being a renewal of a tax of 2 mills at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $45 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years. The estimated annual collections of this levy is $2,918,013. The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and remain open until 7:30 p.m. on election day.
