The date of location and design approval is: October 16th, 2025 This project will develop Clanton Road from a single-lane dirt road to a rural section, two-lane road with a multi-use path and sidewalks. As a part of this project, a 3-leg roundabout is proposed at the intersection of Clanton and Old Washington with connectivity to General Woods Parkway. This project is in Columbia County, Georgia and is approximately 1 mile northeast of the SR104/William Few Intersection. The Project is in GMD 126. The construction process is expected to take approximately 24 months to complete. Columbia County would be responsible for acquiring property rights for this project.
