Public Notice Klamath River Reach Between Keno, Oregon and Hornbrook, California Recreation Access Sites Seasonal Closures When: November 20, 2025 to March 31, 2026 What: The Klamath River Renewal Corporation (KRRC) is implementing its Recreation Management Plan and opened five day-use recreation access sites in 2025 along the restored reach of the Klamath River at the previous J.C. Boyle, Copco, and Iron Gate reservoir areas. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) manages the two sites in Oregon, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Service (CDFW) manages the three sites in California. The Pioneer Park West and Moonshine Falls sites in Oregon and the K'utárawáx·u (pronounced ku-ta-ra-wa-hhu) (also known as Grizzly Hill) site in California will close to the public for the winter season from November 20, 2025 to March 31, 2026 based on safety and weather conditions.
