NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   TAKE NOTICE that the Tobyhanna Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 5:00 P.M., at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building, 105 Government Center Way, Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania 18350. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application of Jennifer and William Schwacke for a variance from § 155-18 and Attachment 5 of the Tobyhanna Township Zoning Ordinance, which requires a 15 foot side setback on properties in the Medium-Density Residential District (R-2) that are improved with single-family detached dwellings. Applicants want to construct a platform less than 15 feet from their side yard boundary.   Jennifer Shea-Schwacke and William Schwacke are the owners of record of the subject property, which is located at 1259 Arrowhead Drive, Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania 18347, in the R-2 district. The property is also identified as Parcel ID No. 19.17D.2.87 and Map No. 19-6306-09-15-2338.   The complete application is available for inspection at the Township’s office at the address listed above from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may participate in the proceedings.
