EXHIBIT A   REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Public Notice is hereby given that the Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority is seeking proposals from financially and legally qualified Developers to acquire from the Authority, Lots 24 through 41, inclusive, Block 12, Sunny Side, together with the north ½ of the alley adjacent thereto vacated by Resolution, recorded April 22, 1974, in Book 1779 at page 395, City of Pueblo, County of Pueblo, State of Colorado (the “Property”), and to develop and construct on the Property, a commercial shopping center that (1) complies with all applicable City codes, ordinances, and building requirements, including construction of traffic improvements required by the Colorado Department of Transportation, (2) describes the proposed commercial uses, (3) describes how the project will be financed, (4) contains dates for commencement and completion of construction of all required improvements, (5) includes a description of the Developer’s experience, and (6) provides development references, including bank or other financial contacts. The Authority reserves the right to (a) reject any and all proposals in whole or in part; (b) waive any and all irregularities in proposals; and (c) commence negotiations with any or all parties who have or may submit proposals before the expiration of the time for submission of proposals.
