The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Sheboygan County is holding an open hearing for public input for the 2026 Wisconsin Department of Transportation 85.21 grant.
The public hearing is scheduled for Friday, November 14th, 2025, at 1PM and will be held in person at the Aging and Disability Resource Center located at 650 Forest Avenue Sheboygan Falls, WI. Please call Michelle Acevedo if you have questions at 920-467-4100.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments and input regarding the utilization of the state statute 85.21 Elderly and Disabled Transportation 2025 application. These funds are used to provide transportation in the most rural areas of the county to seniors aged 60 and above, along with those 18-59 years of age who have a qualifying disability. The urban areas will also have access to this transportation when available.
The proposed grant total is $308,869 of which Sheboygan County is required to contribute $61,774, a 20% match.
