FROM ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS
TO ASSIST
THE OPERATIONS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF PLAINFIELD
The Housing Authority of Plainfield is requesting proposals from qualified and licensed electrical contractors to repair or replace electrical equipment at both Joanne Hollis Gardens and Richmond Towers on the regular services calls and emergency need basis.
The annual services shall not exceed $80,000 per year. Please see the scope of services inside the proposal application package.
Interested companies shall submit the current certificate of insurance with workers compensation and three work-related references to be included in the proposal package to the Authority.
The service tickets/reports shall be forwarded to the Authority indicating time, date and reason for the services calls after completion of each task. Electrical work includes but is not limited to rewiring, replacement or repair work for electrical equipment.
One original and two copies of the proposal are required to be delivered to the Administration Office located at 510 East Front Street, Plainfield, New Jersey on or before 11:00 a.m., November 26, 2025. All proposals are required to comply with the requirement of PL. 1975C.127 affirmative action and equal employment laws in accordance with the applicable state and federal regulations.
