BY VIRTUE of and to satisfy a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued from the Honorable 9th Judicial District Court, and to me directed as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Auctioneer of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, directing and commanding me to seize and sell the property, rights and credits of the defendant, I have seized the following property and will offer for sale to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction on the second floor of the Court House in Alexandria, Louisiana, between the hours prescribed by law, on Wednesday the 10th day of December, 2025 the following property to-wit:
A certain piece, parcel or tract of land, together with all buildings and improvements thereon, and all rights, ways, and privileges thereunto appertaining, being, lying and situated in Section 29, T4N, R1W, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Start at the intersection of the West boundary line of the right-of-way of Heyman Lane and the North boundary line of the right-of-way of the Gardner-Alexandria Highway, which point if marked with an iron pipe and is shown on that certain plat of survey by Louis J. Daigre, Rapides Parish, Surveyor, dated April 21, 1953, which plat is duly recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 167 of the plat book records of Rapides Parish, Louisiana; from said point thus established, run thence South 70 degrees 45 minutes West along the said North boundary line of the right-of-way of the Gardner-Alexandria Highway a distance of 450.8 Feet to a point, thence run North 20 degrees 25 minutes West and along the Western boundary; of Nall Street a distance of 120 feet and establish the point of beginning; from the point of beginning thus established, run thence North 20 degrees 25 minutes West and along the western boundary of Nall Street a distance of 100 feet; thence extend back therefrom between parallel lines one of which is the Southern boundary line of Lot A of Heyman Lane Subdivision, a distance of 181.5 feet to the Western boundary line of said Lot A of Heyman Lane Subdivision; said property being a 100 foot strip off the Southern end of said Lot A, T4N, R1W, near the City of Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana and which Heyman Lane Subdivision is duly of record in Plat Book 8, Page 167 of the records of Rapides Parish: being a portion of the property acquired by Francis E. Verzwyvelt, from Webster P. Verzwyvelt by Act of Sale and Mortgage dated June 12, 1948, and being duly recorded in Conveyance Book 357, Page 487, of the records of Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
Said property bears a municipal address of 107 Nall Street, Alexandria, LA 71303.
