County of Potter
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That by virtue of a certain Order of sale In Tax Suit in Cause No. 022571-E-TAX issued out of the Honorable 108th District Court of Potter County, Texas, on the 22nd day of October, 2025 and styled Sombrero Property Tax Fund I LLC vs. William Paul Bennett Jr., ET AL, whereas on the 16th day of September, 2025 recovered a tax foreclosure judgment with Sombrero Property Tax Fund I LLC and Potter County, City Of Amarillo, Amarillo Junior College District, Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District, and Amarillo Independent School District, as Plaintiffs against William Paul Bennett Jr. aka William Bennett, Jr., Woodbridge Home Solutions, LLC FKA Woodbridge Home Solutions Inc., dba Woodbridge Home Exteriors, Inc. (In Rem Only), and Homeplus Finance Corp (In Rem Only), the sum of Seventeen thousand, nine hundred forty-seven dollars and fifty-three cents ($17,947.53) together with the costs of suit and sale, under Judgment in favor of Plaintiffs, and placed in my hands for service on 10/24/2025 Brian Thomas, as Sheriff of Potter County, Texas, did on the 24 day of October 2025, did levy pursuant to the Order of Sale on a judgment on certain Real Property, situated in Potter County, Texas, described as follows, to-wit:
ACCT. NO. 151019; LOT TWELVE (12), BLOCK NINE (9),
MESA VERDE ADDITION UNIT NO. 2, AN ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF AMARILLO, POTTER COUNTY, TEXAS,
ACCORDNG TO THE MAP OR PLAT RECORDS OF POTTER
COUNTY, TEXAS.
And on the first Tuesday in the month of December 2025 the same being the 2nd day of said month at the Potter County Santa Fe Building, 900 S. Polk St., 11th Floor Auditorium, Amarillo, Texas, Potter County, Texas 79101 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by virtue of said levy and said Orders of Sale, I will sell to satisfy the judgments for the delinquent property taxes and accrued penalties and interest due, and for all costs of court and sale, said above real estate at public venue, for cash, to the highest bidder as the property of Defendants in such suit, as provided for by the Texas Property Tax Code, and in compliance with the law, I give this notice by publication, in the English language, once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks immediately preceding said day of sale, in Amarillo Globe News a Publication in Potter County, Texas.
