LEGAL NOTICE  The County of Broome will receive sealed bids, for Department of Public Works Project LB-2501, at the Office of the Broome County Division of Purchasing, 2nd Floor, Edwin L. Crawford County Office Building, 60 Hawley Street, Binghamton, New York, 13901, up to and including 2:00P.M., WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, for the following:  BROOME COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS CITY OF BINGHAMTON COUNTY OF BROOME STATE OF NEW YORK DPW PROJECT NO: LB-2501 RFB 2025-074  Deposit Required: Each Proposal must be made upon the forms provided by the County and shall be accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Said Deposit shall be made payable to the Broome County Director of OMB, shall be considered a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the Contract with the County if it is awarded to him/her.   •  Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. If the bid price for this project exceeds $100,000, then the Broome County Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontracting goal is 3.5%, and the EEO Minority Hiring Goal is 5.0% in accordance with the programs detailed in the bid documents.   The County of Broome officially distributes bidding documents through the Empire State Purchasing Group by logging on to: www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/broome-county.
