PROJECT INFORMATION
Notice to Bidders: Bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.
Project Identification: City of Zanesville – Secrest Auditorium – House Lighting Package
Project Location: 334 Shinnick Street, Zanesville, Ohio
Owner: City of Zanesville

Project Description: Project consists of replacement of existing house lighting and wiring to support a new dimmer package.
Project cost range is anticipated to be under $300,000.
Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:
General Contract – Single Prime (all trades).
BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING
Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance
with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:
1. Bid Date: December 12 (Friday)
2. Bid Time: 11:00 a.m. local time
3. Location: City of Zanesville City Hall – 1st Floor Conference Room; 401 Market Street; Zanesville, Ohio 43701
Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud.
BID SECURITY
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid Surety furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities
PREBID MEETING
Owner and Architect will conduct a MANDATORY Prebid meeting as indicated below:
1. Meeting Date: December 2 (Tuesday)
2. Meeting Time: 2:00 p.m. local time
3. Location: 334 Shinnick Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701

TIME OF COMPLETION
Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time.
