TOWN OF BARNSTABLE CAPE COD GATEWAY AIRPORT Request for Proposal for the 2026 Lease of Space in the Airport Terminal to Operate Rental Car Services to Airport Patrons The Chief Procurement Officer for the Town of Barnstable on behalf of Cape Cod Gateway Airport Commission and the Airport Manager is soliciting responses for the lease of space in the Airport terminal for the operation of rental car services to airport passengers. Up to four (4) firms may be awarded space in the terminal for a period of 3 years with one 3-year option to extend. Request for Proposal (RFP) documents available online only on the Town’s Bonfire Procurement Portal: https://townofbarnstable.bonfirehub.com on 11/13/2025. Last day to submit questions is no later than 12 noon on 12/18/2025 to Vendor Discussion section of the procurement portal. Proposals are due in the procurement portal at link above on 1/8/2026 no later than 12:00 noon. Only proposals received online through the Town’s Bonfire Procurement Portal will be accepted. It is the Bidders’ sole responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Bonfire Online Procurement Portal requirements and submission process. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, Section 16, and all lease documents must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal regarding Real Property Transactions. The Town has no discretion under the law to consider proposals that fail to comply with those requirements, except for minor informalities as permitted by MGL Chapter 30B Section 5(f). If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request.
