NOTICE OF ACTION TAKEN
Please be advised that on November 10, 2025, the Township of Edison Planning Board (the “Planning Board” or the “Board”) took action to adopt a resolution memorializing its vote of October 6, 2025 to approve an application filed by Iron Mountain Data Centers, LLC (the “Applicant”) in connection with property located at 3003 Woodbridge Avenue, and designated as Block 795.04, Lot 22.12 on the Tax Maps of the Township of Edison (the “Property”). The Property is located within the Township’s RRRD – Raritan River Revitalization Zoning District (the “District”), and measures approximately 40.775 acres in area. It is developed with an existing warehouse/data center building measuring approximately 831,427 square feet in total gross floor area.
The Planning Board granted an application for preliminary and final site plan approval in order to install accessory battery storage equipment with fence enclosure on the Property along with associated improvements. The equipment will be located approximately 190 feet from the side property line of 3025 Woodbridge Avenue, identified as Block 795.04, Lot 22.13 on the Tax Maps of the Township of Edison. In connection with the application, the Planning Board also granted a parking variance to permit a total of 295 parking spaces on the Property, whereas 311 parking spaces exist, and 445 parking spaces are required. The approval was subject to conditions as more fully detailed in the Board’s memorializing resolution.
