Notice of Public Hearing   To: Tracy Sholders, Margaret Blue   From: Pender County ITS Department   Subject: Advertisement for Public Hearings   Run Date No. 1: 11/20/2025   Run Date No. 2: 11/27/2025   The Pender County Board of Commissioners Will Hold Public Hearings as Follows:   Date of Hearings: December 1, 2025   Time of Hearings: 8:00 pm   Location of Hearings: The public hearing noted will be held in the Pender County Administrative Building, located at 805 S Walker St Burgaw, NC 28425.   Road Name Decommissioning: The Pender County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) (Art. 11.3.1 B.) states that, “When a public or private road provides access to more than three (3) addressable structures or combinations thereof, regardless of the length of such road, a road name shall be assigned.” Galloping Kingbird, LLC, has purchased Lots 12 through 15 in the Kingbird subdivision. in Commissioner District 2, Topsail Township, Rocky Point, NC 2847. Four (4) homes have been permitted to be built on this yet-to-be-named road. Furthermore, five (5) more structures are planned to be built.
