PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on December 17, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Jackson Township will hold a hearing on the application of 51 Progress Place, LLC. The hearing will be held at the Municipal Complex, 95 W. Veterans Highway, Jackson, New Jersey. The premises which are the subject of this application are located on 51 Progress Place, Jackson, New Jersey. Said premises are also known as Block 2401, Lot 8 Jackson, New Jersey.
The applicant is seeking Use Variance approval for installation of a mobile concrete batch plant. The property is in the LM – Commercial Office/Light Industrial zone. The proposed use is not permitted in the zone and therefore, a variance under NJSA 40:55D-70(d)(1) is required. The following variances were previously granted and will continue to apply to this application:
Minimum lot width of 250 ft. where 300 ft. is required;
Parking setback from right of way of 13 ft. where 20 ft. is required;
Parking setback from property line of 10 ft. wh ere1.5 ft. is provided;
The applicant also intends to request at the hearing such bulk variance and/or waivers of design standards and/or submission requirements as are required to develop the premises in the manner indicated in the application materials, and any other variances or waivers that the Board may require.
The application for development and all supporting maps, site plans and documents are on file in the office of the Department of Planning and Zoning Municipal Building, 65 Don Connor Boulevard, Jackson, New Jersey and are available for public inspection during normal business hours. Any interested party may appear at the aforesaid hearing, either in person, or by their attorney, and be given an opportunity to be heard with respect to the aforesaid application.
