NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING AND LAND USE AMENDMENT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Des Moines, Iowa, has adopted a resolution concerning a request from Adam Sieren (Developer), representing Gregory E. Peterson and Ramona Peterson (owners of 16 Indianola Road), and Trent R. Olsen (owner of 1947 Southwest 1st Street), for two (2) parcels located at 16 Indianola Road and 1947 Southwest 1st Street, to Amend PlanDSM Creating Our Tomorrow Plan to Revise the Future Land Use Classification from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential, to rezone the Property from "NX1" Neighborhood Mix District and "N5" Neighborhood District to "RX1" Mixed Use District, to allow the construction of approximately thirty four (34) 3-story rowhome dwelling units.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the City Council will consider the proposed amendment and proposed rezoning after a public hearing to be held at 5:00 p.m. on December 22, 2025, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 400 Robert D. Ray Drive, Des Moines, Iowa. At the hearing, opportunity to be heard will be given to proponents and opponents of the proposed amendments and proposed rezoning.
