NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE OF RIGHT OF REDEMPTION

1. John Knight Estate, c/o Penny Knight, and all heirs known and unknown;
2. Any tenants or parties in possession of the below-described property;
3. City of Wadley, Georgia;
4. Jefferson County, Georgia; and
5. State of Georgia.
Take notice that: Pursuant to OCGA Section 48-4-45 and Section 48-4-46, the right to redeem the following described property, to wit:
All those lots situated lying and being in the 83rd District G.M. of said County, being Lots 1 and 2 in the West Bethany Subdivision in accordance with plat of same made by Frank J. Ford, Surveyor, June 25, 1957, hereto attached and made a part hereof, the same being bounded on the North by an extension of Meadows Avenue 90.2 feet, more or less, on the East by other property of Meadows and Brett 93.8 feet, more or less, on the South by Lot No. 3 in the said Subdivision 90 feet, more or less, and on the West by an unnamed street running from Smith Street to the said extension of Meadows Avenue.
The plat referred to in the foregoing description is not hereto attached but is being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of said County in Deed Book 3-W, Page 206.
As described in Deed Book 3Z, Page 25. Further described as Map & Parcel W009 021.
will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on after the 12th day of January, 2026. The tax deed to which this notice relates is dated the 5th day of March, 2024, and is recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Jefferson County, Georgia, in Deed Book 645, at Pages 55-56.
The property may be redeemed at any time before January 12, 2026 by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to Willie Hill, Jr., at 331 Battle Street, Apt. 14, Wadley, Georgia 30477.
