Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Roll call was taken. School Board Members Present: Frank Carini, Mike Dudzik, Sheryl Cerniglia, Mark Verhalen, Meredith Wittmann, Kelly Ganiere, Brianna Allen Kaiser Student School Board Members Present: Kara Meyer 4. School Board President Frank Carini reviewed the Board Meeting and Operating Norms. 5. Mike Dudzik motioned and Meredith Wittmann seconded to approve the Agenda. Motion passed 7-0. 6. The Board heard two School Improvement Plan Presentations: Cedar Hills Elementary and Oak Creek High School. 7. The Board heard from two people during the public comment period. 8. Meredith Wittmann motioned and Sheryl Cerniglia seconded to adopt Draft 12 as the 2026-2027 school year calendar. Motion passed 7-0. b. Meredith Wittmann motioned and Mike Dudzik seconded to recommend the implementation of the December 2025 Premium Holiday for the employee premium share portion of the healthcare benefits. Motion passed 70-0. 12. Information Items: a. District Office Administrators and School Principals shared a report on the 2024-2025 State Accountability Measures with the Board. For the 2024-2025 school year, OCFSD Exceeded Expectations on the District Report card. b. Chief Business and Finance Officer Blaise Paul reviewed the bell time survey results and potential busing modifications with the Board. This item will be brought before the Board at the December 8th Board meeting as an action item. c. The Board heard a First Reading of the revised Policy Section 5000 – Students. d. Chief Business and Finance Officer Blaise Paul shared the October Budget Report with the Board. e. The Board reviewed the Upcoming School Board Meeting Tentative Agendas Report. 13. Sheryl Cerniglia motioned and Brianna Allen Kaiser seconded to consider a motion to convene in executive session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(b), "[c]onsidering dismissal, demotion, licensing or discipline of any public employee or person licensed by a board or commission or the investigation of charges against such person, or considering the grant or denial of tenure for a university faculty member, and the taking of formal action on any such matter; provided that the faculty member or other public employee or person licensed is given actual notice of any evidentiary hearing which may be held prior to final action being taken and of any meeting at which final action may be taken. The notice shall contain a statement that the person has the right to demand that the evidentiary hearing or meeting be held in open session. This paragraph and par. (f) do not apply to any such evidentiary hearing or meeting where the employee or person licensed requests that an open session be held," for purposes of conducting an evidentiary hearing prior to considering the termination of a teacher's contract and employment. Mike Dudzik motioned and Mark Verhalen seconded to terminate the employment and contract of Aaron Larson effective immediately.
