ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Zanesville at the Public Service Office, Room 228, 401 Market Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701-3575, until twelve [12] o'clock noon, January 16, 2026, for SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SERVICES [05/02/26 through 05/01 /29], and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud. Envelopes containing the proposals must be sealed and plainly marked "Proposal for Solid Waste Disposal Services to be opened 12:00 Noon 01/16/2026". The Instructions to bidders, specifications, bidding documents, contract, and other documents may be obtained from the Public Service Office by contacting Stephanie Sheets via email at Stephanie.Sheets@coz.org. The defined terms appearing in the general specifications apply to all Contract Documents. A bid bond or certified check must accompany the proposal in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The State of Ohio statutory standard for judging the bids is "lowest and best bid". The City reserves the right to award any or all parts of a proposal, reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities and/or informalities, make an award in any manner consistent with law, readvertise, and/or take such other steps decreed necessary and in the best interests of the City.
