CDBG Grant: WHEREAS, the Corning Town Council was awarded for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project; and WHEREAS, the Corning Town Council’s current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project is; Town of Corning Housing Needs Assessment, 283CP106-24 for $47,500; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Corning Town Council now to go forward to receive public comment on the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Corning Town Council does hereby set a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:00 PM, prior to their regularly scheduled meeting to hear public comments on the Town’s current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project. The meeting will be held at the Town of Corning Town Hall 25 South Elm Street Corning, NY 14830. The Town of Corning will hold a public interest session starting December 16th, 2025 at 7pm following the public hearing to hear the public's interest in applying for a community center to be placed on Clark St. Corning, NY. Resident's who are interested in voicing their opinions are encouraged to attend.
