NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Lafayette, Indiana will receive sealed bids in the Office of the City Clerk, 20 N. 6th Street, up to 9:00 a.m. (E.S.T.) on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 for the following:
Sodium Bisulfite, Hydrochloric Acid, Buffered Muriatic Acid, Ferric Chloride,
Ammonium Sulfate (Dry), Sodium Fluoride, and Sodium Chloride (Salt)
Bid documents may be obtained electronically at Clerks@lafayette.in.gov or in the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 20 N. 6th Street, Lafayette, IN. Evidence of financial responsibility and a bidder’s bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, based on estimated usage, are required for this event and must be submitted with your response. Bids are for supply to both City of Lafayette and West Lafayette, Indiana. One envelope is required per chemical and bids being submitted shall be clearly marked on the outside of your envelope indicating the chemical being bid. All bids shall be submitted on the Official Bid Form for each chemical being bid to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 20 N. 6th Street, Lafayette, IN 47901. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids pursuant to State Law and City bidding procedures.
The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened to the bidder.
