BY VIRTUE of and to satisfy a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued from the Honorable 9th Judicial District Court, and to me directed as Sheriff and Ex-Officio Auctioneer of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, directing and commanding me to seize and sell the property, rights and credits of the defendant, I have seized the following property and will offer for sale to the last and highest bidder at Public Auction on the second floor of the Court House in Alexandria, Louisiana, between the hours prescribed by law, on Wednesday the 14th day of January, 2026 the following property to-wit :
A certain piece, parcel or tract of land, together with all buildings and improvements located thereon, and all rights, ways and privileges thereunto appertaining, being, lying and situated in Section 31, Township 4 North, Range 3 West Rapides Parish, Louisiana and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Part of Lots Two (2) and Three (3) of Block Three (3), McKnights Division of Lucy M. Lazard Estate lying South of Louisiana Highway. No. 28 described as start at the Southeast corner of Lot 9 of Kisatchie Hills Subdivision as shown on plat of survey recorded at Plat Book 17, Page 107, at a point on Kisatchie Hills Road; thence run along the 'Southern lot line of said Lot 9 North 80 degrees 44 minutes 43 seconds West 207.3 feet; thence run South 11 degrees 05 minutes West 278.16 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue South 11 degrees 05 minutes West 277.90 feet to the taking line on Kincaid reservoir, thence run along said taking line North 50 degrees 59 minutes East 73.20 feet; thence run North 33 degrees 35 minutes East 80 feet; thence run South 76 degrees 08 minutes East 38 feet; thence run South 82 degrees 11 minutes East 134.58 feet to the Western right of way of Kisatchie Hills Road; thence run North along said right of way North 07 degrees 49 minutes East 110.95 feet; thence run North 00 degrees 52 minutes 31 seconds West 45.59 feet; thence run away from said road North 82 degrees 11 minutes West 234.50 feet back to the point of beginning, containing approximately 1.00 acre being more particularly shown by plat of srvey by Ernest M. Purby dated October 13, 1986, a copy of which is attached hereto.
There is also included in this sale that certian predial servitude of passage granted in favor of the above described property in a Cash Sale from Aaron L. Slayter and Sharon Honeycutt Slayter being shown as a "20' access" across the adjacent parcel of property described as 1.3595 acres.
