SECTION 00 01 00 – NOTICE TO BIDDERS As the Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) Kettelhut Construction, Inc. ("Kettelhut Construction") shall accept bids for the Elliott Hall of Music Ceiling Tile Replacement - 2026 project located in West Lafayette, Indiana, pursuant to Indiana Code S-32. BID PACKAGES: Bid Package #1 – General Trades Bid Package #2 – Ceiling Tile Clouds Bid Package #3 – Scaffolding Bid Submission All bids must be submitted via Kettelhut Construction Inc.'s secure Pipeline bidding site prior to the deadline for bids indicated below. All bidders shall contact Kettelhut's office (765-447-2181 or kci@kettelhut.com) a minimum of five days prior to this deadline to verify they are actively registered in their Pipeline database and have received an Invitation to Bid which are both required in order to submit a bid on this project. Please see Sections 00 0100 Instructions to Bidders and 00 01 10 Supplementary Instructions to Bidders of the project specifications for additional instructions and requirements for submitting bids on this project. Bids combining multiple packages are allowed but will only be accepted if the bidder also includes bids for each individual Package included. All Packages included in combination bids must be clearly identified on the Pipeline Combination Bid Form and separate Bid Forms must be submitted for each individual Package and combination thereof. No bids will be accepted on Pipeline after the bid deadline. See critical dates & times listed below (all Eastern Standard Time): Issued for Bid: December 15, 2025 Pre-Bid Meeting: January 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM E.S.T – Elliott Hall - Main Auditorium Bids Due: January 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM E.S.T. The Pre-Bid Meeting will start at 10:00 AM in the Main Auditorium area near the stage in the Elliott Hall of Music. A building tour to review existing conditions will follow. Although not mandatory, all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend to review existing conditions, including in the attic, that will directly impact the performance of the work. The following documents are required to be completed in full and submitted with each bid proposal by the above referenced bid due date and time: 1. Pipeline Bid Form (Form found on Pipeline) 2. Bid Security (Bid Bond / Certified Check) in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount – not required if Bid Package is less than $200,000.00. Contractors Bid for Public Work Form 96 (Attachment C): Must be filled out in its entirety including Financial Statement & Non-Collusion Affidavit if Bid Package is equal to or greater than $150,000.00. Only Part 1 and Non-Collusion Affidavit are required if Bid Package is less than $150,000.00. (Form must be uploaded to Pipeline) 4. Trench Safety Affidavit (Attachment C): Must be submitted with bid by all contractors performing trenching activities on project. (Form must be uploaded to Pipeline) 5. Drug Testing Affidavit (Attachment C): Must be submitted with bid for all contractors performing work onsite. (Form must be uploaded to Pipeline) All Bid Packages over $100,000.00 will be required to include an add alternate for Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their base bid, including alternates. Location to provide add alternate will be included on the Pipeline Bid Form. Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for select scope of work packages based on Owner and Kettelhut Construction, Inc.'s discretion.
