NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS NOTICE INVITING INTERESTED CONTRACTORS FOR THE 2026 CALIFORNIA UNIFORM PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTING (CUPCCAA) PROGRAM FOR ALISAL UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT The Alisal Union School District Board members approved and authorized District Staff to proceed with implementation of the contractors Pre-Qualification process, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section §20111.5, where it currently grants school districts the option to require contractors on school district construction projects to pre-qualify prior to submitting bids. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section §20111.6, where school districts with an ADA of 2,500 or more must qualify general contractors, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors on project involving and anticipating expenditures of $1,000,000 or more, and which are funded in whole or in part by State school bonds. If a mechanical, electrical and plumbing subcontractor listed in any bid or proposal submitted by a general contractor is not prequalified, that general contractor’s bid or proposal will not be accepted. • A Contractor with an A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C16, C-20, C-34, C36, C38, C42, C-43, and/or C-46 license(s) that intends to bid as a general contractor (prime contractor) directly to the district. • A Contractor with a C-4, C-7, C-10, C16, C-20, C-34, C36, C38, C42, C-43, and/or C-46 license(s) that intends bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) that is biding directly to the district. Alisal Union School District would like to invite contractors that are interested in bidding district project to participate in our pre-qualified process. The purpose is to more efficiently and effectively bid district projects and provide opportunities for contractors who are deemed “qualified.” The District will be reviewing and approving Pre-Qualification applications forms through the year. Contractors that are deemed “qualified” will remain on the qualified contractors list for a period of 12 months effective the date of approval. After the 12 months, the contractor must re-apply.
