TAX SALE REDEMPTION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given to Minnie Cooper Estate and all heirs known and unknown, and any other interested party, in regards to Tax Sale Property located in Jefferson County, Georgia, the right to redeem the following described property, to-wit:
All that certain lot of land, with improvements thereon, in the City of Wadley, Jefferson County, Georgia, containing one half acre, more or less, known as the Jno. J. Cooper house and lot, bounded as follows: North by West Huff, East by Bob Jackson, South by Central of Ga. RR right of way and West by Church lot. Being the lot deeded by Sheriff Jefferson County to the S.C. Evans Co., as recorded in Book “RR” Page 19, Nov 18th, 1921. This deed given in accordance with Bond for Title to Minnie Cooper June 25th, 1924. Subject to all, if any, Valid Easements, Right of Ways, Covenants, Conditions, Reservations, and Restrictions of record.
As described in Deed Book VV, Page 152. Further described as Map & Parcel W002043.
The Tax Sale Deed to which this Notice relates is dated November 5, 2024 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Jefferson County, Georgia in Deed Book 1338, page 291-292.
REDEMPTION will expire and be forever foreclosed and barred on and after the 17th day of February, 2026. The Tax Deed to which this notice relates is dated the 5th day of November, 2024 and is recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Jefferson County, Georgia in Deed Book 652, at page 410-411. The property may be redeemed at any time before 5:00 p.m. on the, 17th day of February, 2026 by payment of the redemption price as fixed and provided by law to Tyler C.
