THE COURT FINDS:
1. Service of process upon the defendant, EAST JORDAN & SOUTHERN RAILROAD COMPANY cannot reasonably be made as provided in MCR 2.105 and service of process may be made in a manner that is reasonably calculated to give the defendant actual notice of the proceedings and an opportunity to be heard.
IT IS ORDERED:
1. You are being sued in this court by the plaintiff to Quiet title to real property located at and around the former East Jordan iron works foundry site in the City of East Jordan, Charlevoix County . You must file your answer or take other action permitted by law in this court at the court address above on or before January 9, 2025. If you fail to do so, a default judgment may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the complaint filed in this case.
2. A copy of this order shall be published once each week in Charlevoix Courier, for three consecutive weeks, and proof of publication shall be file in this court.
